Ibrahim El Sharif was born to an airbrush artist of a father, and a professional tailor of a mother, he was quick to merge the two worlds together. His childhood was spent in the midst of Beirut-between a graphic design shop and a couture atelier. Naturally, he played with fabric, sewed, sketched, and explored into typography and design, That spirit and drive made Ibrahim at his young age of 11, the talk of many TV programs, magazines and newspapers as the youngest fashion designer in Lebanon.
In 2008 Ibrahim graduated as top of his class with a Bachelor Degree in Interior & Graphic Design at the Lebanese international University. Upon graduating he spent a few years with Spectrum Engineering Consultants working on wide range of projects relating to graphic design, interior design, concept art, architecture design, and 3D visualization.
Soon thereafter, Ibrahim moved to Gatserelia, where he focused specifically on interior and 3D visualization projects as they related to both private and corporate properties.
Throughout all these recent past years, passion for design willed Ibrahim’s heart and mind to create a house of fashion that brings back this young designer to his roots thus this year marks the official launching of IS Design House and an unveiling of a collection whose couture embodies an indelibly adorned style and shrewd charm.
“In my mind has always laid endless notions and stories for a world of out-most serenity, and I have yearned for the time when I could express it. IS Design House is just that place and just that time. I only seek to thrive to a higher plane of design and to exceed my own capabilities at every occasion and opportunity. Of course, this path I believe can only be paved by constant care for my clients’ needs. Ultimately, I only seek you to be the judge.”
